“Permanent” Eyebrow Definition using Semi Permanent Make Up

Semi permanent make-up for eyebrows is widely available in Dubai and the Middle East although we have all heard the horror stories about poorly performed semi permanent make up treatments especially on the eyebrows.

If semi permanent make up is performed correctly then your eyebrows should be symmetrical and natural looking.  Applied colour should compliment your skin tone and natural eyebrow hair colour. Eyebrow positioning and shape should mimic your natural eyebrow line and position.

Semi permanent make up for eyebrows consists of pigment being implanted into the upper dermal layer of the skin.  A specialist semi permanent make up machine is used along with exact needles and pigments.  Implanting pigment into the upper dermal layer means that the application is not permanent and lasts between 18 months to 3 years.

There are several semi permanent make up eyebrow techniques available:

Natural, hair stroke technique –  Lines the thickness of individual hairs are applied to mimic natural hair strokes.
